Custom Solutions Information
For Bookstores
Nelson Custom Solutions and the nation's
college stores share two very important goals: serving our student
customers and selling more books.
In order to facilitate a smooth and successful
ordering process, we ask that you please keep the following factors
in mind when placing your Custom orders:
- Our Custom titles are easily identifiable:
the title of each starts with either *ACP or *Bundle ACP. This
information is available when you research your adopted ISBNs
using the Title Research feature linked from this web site's Home
Page.
- Visit the Custom
Rep Finder, for the name, phone number and email link
of your Nelson Custom Solutions Sales Rep and Editor.
- Order early! The best way to ensure delivery
of all Custom products in time for your class start dates is to
place your orders as early as possible. A good rule of thumb
is to place your orders at least four to six weeks before classes
begin.
- We have our Custom books printed based
on the quantities ordered. In most cases, we don't print the books
until we receive your Purchase Order number and quantity.
- Thomson Custom Solutions will accept up
to 15% returns on each order up to 12 months from the invoice
date. Please order accordingly, keeping in mind the longer than
normal turnaround time on Custom reorders.
- Customize these "Custom
Shelf Tags" that are designed to market the savings to your
students.
- Visit the Custom
Solutions Web site, to access the Nelson Custom Solutions
site for faculty use.

Placing an
Order:
To place an order for a Custom Solutions product,
you will need to provide the following information:
- Purchaser name and complete shipping address
- Your Nelson Education account number
- Complete title, ISBN, author, and quantity
for each title ordered
- Purchase order number for orders not accompanied
by payment
- Any special instructions or information,
clearly noted
- Credit card orders must be accompanied
by the cardholder's complete name, address, phone number, card
number, card expiration date, card type, cardholder's signature,
school or company name, and shipping instructions.

Orders may be subject to local taxes. All
prices are subject to change without notice and do not include applicable
charges for transportation. Please note that books may be out of
print in the future. Nelson Custom Solutions must be notified of
any discrepancies in the fulfillment of your order within 15 days
of the date of shipment.
Returns Policy:
Nelson Custom Solutions accepts up to 15%
returns on bookstore orders for up to 12 months from the invoice
date. Returns should be shipped, prepaid by traceable means to the
